good call! Their terrible career undermines their incredible debut and followup records. Everything after those first two are garbage though

great but - wasn't their debut

Introducting ... The Beatles beat it by 10 days
and even this was just their US debut.. not their first for the UK.

"Debut albums that you like" are not necessarily synonymous with "Masterpiece debut albums".

Lotta playing fast and loose. Just saying.

What's a masterpiece album is kind of in the eye of the beholder though. It's not like there is an objective list of masterpiece albums.

I'll add:

John Frusciante - Niandra Lades
Beirut - Gulag Orkestar
A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms
Queens of the Stone Age - S/T
Them Crooked Vultures - S/T
Albert Hammond Jr - Yours to Keep
Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend (may get some hate for this, but this album has aged well IMO and is akin to Graceland for me)
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle

Sponge - Rotting Pinata
Fuel - Sunburn
Quicksand - Slip
Living Colour - Vivid
Creed - My Own Prison (hate them all you want)

Cowboys from Hell wasn't Pantera's debut. It was their 5th, and it was their second with Anselmo. Their first album was Metal Magic.
