I've always liked the overall sound of it plus the lyric about walking Central Park and also the Puerto Rican girls & wine.
there's a jam on YouTube of the song when they were kicking it around in the studio when it was probably 60 70% done.

lyrics go something about the Puerto Rican girls always turning out to be men in the end LOL

Bingo.

Read about the jam at the end and it becomes more impressive

Could throw Midnight Rambler in there as well.

Truth is there is no "one greatest Stones song" as they have so many great songs. Better chance picking The Greatest Stones album .....which would be the 4 album run from Beggars Banquet to Exile on Main Street

Impossible to pick one song. But I am more of a Brian Jones era Stones fan. So many great tunes- Under My Thumb, Paint it Black, Mother's Little Helper, She's A Rainbow, Time is on my Side, Dandelion, Have you Seen your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadows?

Because Merry Clayton completely blows Mick the-f'away. . .

. . . just a f'away, just the f'away,
just a f'away, just the f'away,
just a f'away, a f'away, af'away.

I am very partial to "Let it Loose" and "Play with Fire", but for the consensus I would go with "Angie".

In my opinion it is either Sympathy for the Devil or Paint it Black. I have a tough time deciding between the two.
