It has to be Red, Red, Wine by UB40.
Most don't even realize the original was from Neil Diamond years before the UB40 version came out.
The reason the cover has to be ranked at the top, is that even Neil Diamond himself has changed his version to more match the UB40 one.

I negged you on this because when I was in college one day the people living in the apartment across the hall from mine bought a new stereo system. They tested out by playing that damn song continuously for 14 hours straight. The words do not exist in the English language that accurately describe the depth of my hatred of that song after that.

I will not say its better than the original but Brit Floyds version of Dogs is incredible. Bobbys solo is spot on.
