Mojo Nixon's cover of Girlfriend In A Coma

Whitney's I will always love you blows the original out of the water.
This is wrong on so many levels.
ETA: And it is sacrilege to say that Van Halen's (the ultimate middle class American white boy band) cover of one of the Kinks' best early songs, You Really Got Me, can even hold a candle to it. That idiot's (Roth) preening and screeching is enough to disqualify it. And the ridiculous guitar masturbation(I recognize that Eddie is very talented, btw) caps off something truly awful.
Likewise, it is beyond sacrilege and bordering on permanent condemnation to the deepest depths of hell, to say that VH's version of "Pretty Woman" is in the same universe as Roy Orbison.

Goin' Down Slow - Duane Allman
I don't think anyone should attempt to cover that song again. Duane fricking kills it.

I was shocked that it took 9 pages to get to Blinded By the Light.
