Undisputed champion of panty-dropping albums of the 1990's.

His duet with Keith Whitley "Brotherly Love" is one of my all-time favorites.

Beat me to it.

Dude was phenomenal.

Your loves on the line

What I’d say

Holding her, loving you

Too many times (r&b song!)

Honor bound

Nobody falls like a fool

18 #1 hits. Only behind Alabama and Ronnie Milsap in the 80s.

Rose colored glasses was my favorite. RIP.

I’m kidding.

Fire and smoke, angel in disguise and once in a blue moon are my faves.

Just now hearing about it. Sucks. I don't think I can pick a favorite. Holding Her and Loving You, Honor Bound, and Angel in Disguise are probably top 3.

I think his duet with the Pointer sister is the only thing that kept him from having them all in a row as well (that peaked at #2).

Also the first artist in any genre to have 4 #1 songs from the same album.

Saw him open a bunch of times for Hank Jr back in the 80's. Holding Her and Loving You is an all time great one.
