According to Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Booking Entertainment can book the following acts for your wedding, Bar Mitzvah, or private party.

Hall and Oates--$100,000-$150,0000
Earth, Wind, and Fire--undisclosed
KC and the Sunshine Band--$75,000-$100,000
The Temptations--$50,000-$75,000
The Beach Boys--$100,000-$150,000
Stevie Nicks--$300,000-$400,000
Don Henley--undisclosed
Lionel Richey--undisclosed
Buddy Guy--$50,000-$75,000
Sugar Ray--$50,000-$75,000

I found it ironic that my favorite among these--Buddy Guy--was the cheapest, and Stevie Nicks, who I don't care for--was the most expensive.

I'm sure Henley would ask much more than she.

If you divide that between 4 or 5 band members, the cost of roadies, minus the agent fee, that's not that much.

James Davison (Davison Trucking) asked me to get Aaron Neville to play at his company Christmas party a few years ago; he was willing to pay $150,000.00 and fly Aaron and his band up to Ruston on his jet. Aaron turned it down.

No surprise Stevie Nicks is the most expensive. She's a rock icon.

I would bet Henley would be the most expensive on the list.

I can't believe you need to drop 50k minimum to get Sugar Ray, what a rip off.

Hall and Oates seems like the best deal of those listed, maybe the Beach Boys but 2 of the 5 are dead.

For irony's sake, they should be employed for a sweet sixteen or two.

Now "She's Gone" - that's a great song.

I bet that is negotiable. If you worked it out so that logistics weren't terrible, I'd be surprised if they wouldn't seriously consider 30k.

H&O puts on a great show and still tours medium sized venues every year. They come to Chastain Ampitheatre in Atlanta every summer and it has become an annual show for me and my wife to attend. Usually sells out a couple weeks before show date. I would recommend the YouTube video "Hall and Oates Live 2003" to anyone who wants to see a tight, crisp, professional group of musicians do what they have mastered over many years. Daryl Hall is grossly underrated as a vocalist and hid rendition of Me and Mrs. Jones at about the :42 minute mark of that video is goosebumps worthy torwards the end.

They sell out their yearly tour every year. I know 6800 people pay to see them at Chastain Park every June.

And....She's Gone is a great song. Along with Sarah Smile and many others. Their live versions of most songs like I Can't go For That, Rich Girl, Out of Touch, etc., are cases where the live versions are better than the studio versions.
