I figured the group think mob on here doesn't like Cody Johnson but what is it specifically y'all don't like about what I posted? What I see is a pretty talented group of musicians playing some solid music and covering a couple classics. Be more specific other than "its junk" or "it's terrible."

I'm thinking that he might be one of the lucky ones though.
The boring songs are his producer's fault, but it seems that he is getting just enough attention, that the label might try hooking him up with a better producer. Put him together with some good writers/songs, and he might do fine.

I agree, I'm the same way, but the music buying public, generally doesn't know the difference.
If the music business had to depend on real musicians and people who write, to buy music, it wouldn't be a very big business. For a guy like me, I like to see guys like him become popular though, because they need songs. That's where I try to come in.
