Fairly new band as first album dropped in 2014. Band consists of just a singer/bass and a drummer yet are surprisingly really good. Some samples of their music

I Only Lie When I Love You
Lights Out
Out of the Black (LIVE)

Some of their newest stuff

Wow. And he's not even playing a bass with extra strings.

They're alright. I bought their first album off the strength of the Out Of The Black video.

I don’t mind them but I prefer Blackwater fever over them if I’m going to listen to something like that.

I think they're solid but they suffer big time in a live setting. IDK what it is but they just miss something live, which I didn't expect.

I wanted to like them since I'm a fan of The White Stripes and early Black Keys - but I can't get into them.

Just the opposite for me. They are what The White Stripes could/should have been.

I saw a video of "I Only Lie When I Love You" on television and thought it was good. Downloaded the audio and a half dozen other songs, but pretty soon began to find it boring.
Missing ancillary instrumentation, dynamics, and diversity that keeps music interesting. All begins to sound alike to me.

Limbo is their newest release with an album out April 30th. Seen them live 3 times and it’s always a fun time

Yeah, but at least the drummer knows what he's doing.

Bump because Boilermaker just came out today.. they’ve been playing this beauty live for a while but studio version is great.

Josh Homme helped produce the song

Very good jam songs. Bit they need new styles and riffs to be interesting

I like them a lot. Not much variety in there, but a great example of playing to their strengths.
I don't need Zeppelin to play "In the Light" for me to like Kashmir any better.
Overall Royal Blood has a great sound (impressive for a duo), great vocals, and catchy riffs. Not much more, but nothing less.

Better than most new music out there right now, honestly.
