Just Dwight and a guitar. It's gold from beginning to end.

Great in concert and has some great tunes. Even some of his new stuff like Second Hand Heart and Take Hold of My Hand are good

Always been a fan. My wife likes his jeans, whatever that means. Looking forward to seeing him at margaritaville in April. Hope he plays a bunch of his new bluegrass stuff.

Huge fan!

I saw him at the Texas Club around '86. I was in college then and my musical taste was cowpunk/rockabilly. Groups like Dash Rip Rock/Jason & the Scorchers/Georgia Satellites, etc. Dwight was such a breath of fresh air. So authentic. Turned Nashville on its ear. I walked back stage and he signed my Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc LP

Love the guy.

I saw him a few months back and he puts on a hell of a show. Played some cash songs and added that Bakersfield rockabilly sound to it.

Closest I usually get to country is alt-country (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) but I love Dwight Yoakam. First got into him when I heard A Thousand Miles From Nowhere in some movie I can't recall.

The song was featured in two films, Red Rock West (filmed prior to the release of This Time using a studio demo recording) and Chasers.

I love Dwight Yoakam. Listening to Guitars, Cadillacs right now. Pretty funny he didn't have much success in Nashville considering he didn't fit the current "pop country" trend.

Sometimes Nashville/CMA can't get out of their own way. Dwight wasn't good enough...Sturgill wasn't good enough, but damn sure dick faces Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton have their place here.

That is because they don't care about the M part.

I have seen Dwight live 4 times. He and George Straight are the only two country singers that can give a concert just based on their music without any fancy gimmicks like today's acts and be well worth the price of admission. Just timeless music and a timeless voice.
