Looks like they are finally shaking up their setlists.

I wish they were coming to Louisiana this tour.

Great show. Love that setlist are different each night. Makes you feel likes it’s a unique event.

Only played about 1 1/2 hours is my only gripe

I’ll preface this by saying they are easily my favorite band of all time. I’ve seen them a dozen times at least. I’ll give the show a B+. They are just terrific but the energy wasn’t there like before for me. He spent too much time between songs setting them up or making small talk then said something about the crowd needing to give more since it was a Saturday night rock and roll show. Ok, then shut up and rock this mothascratcher out and do it for 2-3 hours! 6 songs from the 1st album was too many, 5 songs from the new album were fine and I like the others in between (Thorn in My Pride being the highlight) but i personally would’ve been happier with other choices or jams connecting songs. I still had a great evening and bought the obligatory long sleeve T that I’ll wear for 10 years. I’m really hoping they’ll be back a Jazzfest next year

I liked the crowes fine enough back in the 90s but I really liked chris robinson brotherhood. He’s an underrated guitar player and with he and casal they jammed the shite out their songs and played long sets

If they could somehow combine that energy with the new crowes I’d be all on board. They probably miss Steve Gorman too, intensity wise.

But if they come close, I’ll go

looks like it was a single set 1.5hr show. That’s kinda disappointing

they have plenty of material they could surely do a longer show

As always you’re correct. I could listen to them for hours. It was pretty cut and dry for me. Y’all got somewhere else to be on a Saturday night?

Very underrated band in my opinion. She Talks To Angels and Twice As Hard especially are great songs.

Not really. They seem very rated to me.

Same, I saw them about 20 times and it was never a bad show. Unfortunately, its hard not to believe that chris ditching that band led to neals death.

Chris’s new wife broke that band up for the money grab symm tour.

At least they are now finally pushing out new material.

yeah…
I try not to think about it too much. I was also WAY into circles around the sun (still am); we missed out on a lot

Chris Robinson seemed completely comfortable and free in the jamband/dead adjacent world. He’s a world class musician and I never thought the black crowes were really what he was here to do. Lots of damage went down around him though

Oh well

if there’s a single most properly rated band in history it’s the black crowes (not a dig, they’re great)
