I could make a Spoon Pandora station, but it would be inferior to simply tossing all of Spoon's songs in a playlist on shuffle.

I can't quit listening to my Pixies station. A shite ton of David Bowie and Modest Mouse with Metric and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs thrown in the mix. Can't believe I didn't make this station years ago.

Talking Heads is a good station... it will play a range of things all the way from The Rolling Stones to contemporaries like David Bowie to Cure / New Order. Very diverse, interesting station.

Bryan Ferry is similarly good, plays a similar range, but has a little more of that moody edge you get with Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music.

One mix of stations I'm a big fan of is:
1) Bob Marley
2) Danny Tenaglia (techno DJ who was really big in the 90s... not sure about now)
3) Ali Farka Toure (African blues man, brings in an eclectic mix of world music)
4) Lightnin Hopkins (very good blues man)

It seems a strange mix on the surface, but it works (if you like the music). Bob Marley & Lightnin Hopkins transition naturally together... the type of techno Danny Tenaglia pulls in is a nice counterpoint to these stations and lightens the mood / makes things lively, then the Ali Farka Toure throws in some wild cards, from more blues or folk, to latin fare like the Buena Vista Social Club... and a few really odd numbers you will probably want to give a thumbs down to.

I would not call myself a country fan, but recently I listened to Hank Williams and Kathleen Edwards. Really loved Edwards. Going to tweek it some and it will be one of my go-tos.
