Audioslave came on the scene when I was in college, so it is a little closer to my heart. Plus Cornell had quit smoking and had his voice back.

Between Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, and the first Fantomas record, Mike Patton might deserve the title.

I like Chris Isaak, but here's a nod to Terrance Trent D'arby.

He sure disappeared. What ever happened to him?

He probably just made enough money to go kick it on a beach. Got into some acting.

His album Baja Sessions was awesome.

Mili Matijevic from Steelheart and it's not even close. Cheesy lyrics, but his range is ridiculous and he could pull it off live. He was the singing voice of Mark Wahlberg's character in Rock Star.

Cornell and Staley (1A and 1B).

Is this Staley's best performance?
Perhaps Staley's best? Maybe not?

He was about to make a comeback in the 90s before he died.
