I had forgotten about Warrant & Skid Row for decades. Re-discovered them last year thanks to YT and bought their cd's (I'm against digital music) and they totally rock. It's a real shame what happened to Jani Lane.

Not really, he had a drinking problem. His addictions overshadowed and controlled his talent. And combine it with depression is a lethal outcome.

There are several YT videos during his last years (2010-2011) where he is onstage performing and just hammered to the point of forgetting lyrics. Imagine paying a concert ticket to witness that. You ain't getting your money back.

I just recently rediscovered Jethro Tull. The guy was an insane performer and talented musician.
