If you get the chance to see them live, do it. Always a great show.

I used to just think the Stones were okay till I really started listening to their full albums. After that, my appreciation for them was much deeper.

I downright hated Anthony after they opened for dredg, but he has won me over with The Ocean and the Sun, Blue Sky Noise, and Violent Waves. It seems he started learning how to sing around the time he worked with David Bottrill.

Makes sense that someone who doesn't like Radiohead wouldn't like a Radiohead derivative.

I have to add Neko Case. I respect the shite out of her, but her music just doesn't move me.

I don't even think I should like these bands. I'm suprised they are as big as they are, which is to say I'm surprised they are worldwide superstars.

Wilco
Black Keys (I know who Junior Kimbrough is)

Umphrey's McGee

All my friends like them and go see them all the time, I've seen them 3-4 times and just find myself really bored the whole show.

Just lots of prog-rock metal noodling you can't dance to.

And I'd say Widespread, but Widespread is awful, so I don't think I should like them.

Woah. Do not agree

I agree with most everything else in this thread so far. Especially Radiohead, Bon Iver, and Avett Brothers.

Oh yeah yeah yeah. My best friend is obsessed, but I just can't get into it. Not that I think they're BAD.. just not something that I ever fell in love with.

Saw them .. in front of front row. Like.. front row was behind me. I think they are incredibly talented, but their music bores me to death. And it's weird considering the type of music I like. They come on my Pandora ALL the time.

I was in love with this guy when I was in high school. Saosin was my favorite band. I still sleep in my Saosin band tee. When their new lead singer (Cove?.. or whatever his name is) took over, I hated them.

I followed Anthony Green to Circa Survive, but the sound was different/heavier and I couldn't quite get into it like I did with old Saosin.

I think he has an incredible voice though.

I love Anthony Green's early Saosin stuff. I love most Circa Survive- Blue Sky Noise and Juturna especially. I don't like his solo stuff- Avalon. Can't get into him without his band.

I like them both and respect them both a great deal, but Neil Young is GOAT for me.

I completely get that. I don't judge anyone for not liking him. His voice alone drives many people nuts.

So, I shouldn't like them, or I do get into them?

I love New Slang. Not liked one other song since.

Greatful Dead, just never could get into them. Although I enjoy them from time. I think it may have something to do with their bigger fans being way to fricking into them.
