Yeah I wouldn't mind going to tailgate again at one of his shows, but he so insufferable on stage I'd leave when the show started. Last time I saw him the show was only 90 minutes and I swear he talked about how great he is for 40 minutes of it.

These Tom Petty comments...? Ahhhh....is he just not a good live act? No stage presence?

He is good to see one time, or at least was 8 years ago.

Petty is great live, especially if he's with The Heartbreakers. His shows aren't that varied though. I've seen him 3 times and feel like I've seen the same show 3 times.

They were absolutely great but the crowd experience is like a prison riot for a half mile radius around the stage. White people get wild for some RATM.

I saw them at the Sloss Furnaces in B-ham. Entirely wrong show to drop acid.

I just saw Elton John live in March.

He was a very good show, but damn, 3 hours worth of love songs was enough.

I will never see him again.

I started the show holding onto the front rail, wearing jeans and shoes. I ended the show in the very back wearing jorts, shirtless and barefoot.

Forgot about him. Also Drivin' N Cryin'. I've seen them by accident at least 4 times(as an opener). Good band but I'm not really a fan. And speaking of opening acts I'll add Butthole Surfers to the list.

I think there is like one left but Skynyrd still jams. Very fun show.

Say what you will but their old shows have some heaters
