That voice and that talent in that time would have been a successful musician regardless.

Probably not on a Pearl Jam level but....

Why? So he can sound like Eddie Vedder? Lol.

Pearl Jam is okay, but I do hate Eddie Vedder, both for his voice and his politics
Feel the same about Bono too. The worst bands today, imo, are death metal bands and noise metal bands. If I hear Sun O))) ever again, I'm pretty sure I'll blow my brains out.

Wood's voice didn't carry well in concerts and sounded forced. Their live stuff wasn't stellar IMO. Would be interesting to see how that whole scene would have shaken out had Wood not died though.

As cold hearted as this may sound.....

Without Wood's death PJ would have never been formed and the 90s without PJ is just something I don't even want to think about.

Wood's style was more glamish rock imo.

Surprised anyone here has ever heard Sunn O))). They take some getting used to, but I've grown to enjoy their older material.

Powerful? Possibly. Not sure why that would be important. It's terrible and I cannot think of a worse vocalist in all of music. Remember, I mentioned golden retriever puppies.

Sorry about the gay thing. It's just not happening. Not going to start a new sex life this late and my wife would probably rape me in the divorce.

I honestly don't like any of these three.

And I'm a huge alt country fan.

I just can't find much of a flow in the Drive By Trucker's stuff. And the dude's voice is nerve racking. I like what they're trying to do, it just deesn't really work for me.

I tried my best to like Hank 3 and Shooter when they came out. Mainly because of who their fathers were. After I while I just said frick it. They suck imo.
