I just can't find much of a flow in the Drive By Trucker's stuff. And the dude's voice is nerve racking. I like what they're trying to do, it just deesn't really work for me.

Not sure why that would be important.

If you're not into emotional music ( which grunge music really is) then it might not be for you.

Just going to guess you're talking about Patterson Hood. He's terrible. I pretty much only listen to Cooley and Isbell songs.

I am. Most of the DBT stuff I've heard is with him. Can't stand it.

I like Jason Isbell a lot. His new stuff is great..

This is easily DBT's best song. No coincidence that it was wrote and sung by Isbell

I like it better than most of his DBT stuff. I still love The Day John Henry Died though.

Axl Rose- ever time I hear his voice I wish I was deaf.

Lil' Wayne- His over hyped arse needs to DIAF.

Anyone who doesn't really write their own music. Auto tune and a pretty face shouldn't be what music is all about, but sadly it is.

This should be fun: Any rap Rush Any of the screechers such as Journey or Boston flame away

Actually, Kafka, i kind of agree with you- I still feel rap is not music, and Boston & Journey are two bands that send me running to change the station- same old shite, over & over again. Now Rush I think is ok, they have a large library of music to choose from, but stations play the same 2 or 3 Rush songs over & over again...

Not that they were ever played on the radio a lot, but it always puzzled me why people liked Rancid at all.

I personally love them. They blew up at roughly the same time as Green Day, and while I loved Green Day's "Dookie" album, I gravitated more toward Rancid's "...And Out Come the Wolves". Listening to Rancid introduced me to Operation Ivy, which in turn led to bands like Social Distortion, Black Flag, Dead Kennedy's, Naked Raygun, the Buzzcocks, the Dead Boys, Cocksparrer, Stiff Little Fingers, et al....

I'll firmly state that "punk rock" music stuck with me all through my formative years and is still with me today. I don't really give two shits if people think it's unlistenable. I know to most people it is, and I'll readily admit that most of it is, but I still love it... And I still listen to Rancid regularly

Anyway... Nickelback. Can't stand them. Never have liked 'em, never will.
