Bands right now that are bucking the terrible music industry today?

Are there any newer bands/artists, perhaps like a Sturgill, that are bucking the terrible music industry? I like some Sturgill but looking for something a bit more punk/rock/metal-ish.
I hate nothing more than today’s shitty popular artists being pumped down the public’s throats because it’s easy to put a beat on an album and mass produce generic lyrics and pump out some shite show album every 3 months per artist. Sick of the Imagine Dragons and Fallout boy shite passing as rock. Looking for a band that actually has talent but also the attitude and boldness to reject all this looped, synthesized bullshite we have today...
Thanks!

How heavy do you want to go? Metal is a pretty diverse genre.

For punk:
I’d recommend Jeff Rosenstock. Especially his album Worry.
Going a little further back, I’d also recommend Titus Andronicus. Especially The Monitor.

Heavy musically but with understandable lyrics. Don’t mind guttural singing but it’s so unoriginal at this point.

All them witches.
You’re welcome.

Agree on this. Screams should be used sparingly so they have impact. If someone does nothing but scream unintelligibly, it completely takes me out of the song. A scream every once in a while can be a powerful way to show emotion, rage, vulnerability, etc. but if you do it all the time, it doesn’t matter at all. It’s like the old adage about dynamics in music: if everything is fortessimo, then nothing is. It’s not about how loud you can be, but how wide your range is between the loudest and softest you play.

All Them Witches - each of their albums has a different vibe but all rock with varying degrees of stoner and blues influences.

Monster Magnet has been bucking the industry for 30 years and their most recent release is one of their best.

These aren’t all-inclusive lists, just groups off the top of my head. Cody Jinks makes good stuff

Couple albums I pulled from my personal collection may fit into something you like. Most is older, not newer. Has the same attitude of what you're maybe looking for.

Bring Me the Horizon is pop metal with actual talent.

One of my favorite current punk bands is Bully.
Also check our PUP. Their album Morbid Stuff is great.
The Beths are also really good.
Might check out Pinegrove if you want a kind of country and punk mix.
Sleep's album The Sciences is also great for a more stoner metal vibe.

Whiskey Meyers is what you are looking for.
My favorite Spotify playlist includes every Sturgil, Tyler Childers, Marcus King Band and Whiskey Meyers album played on shuffle. No song disappoints.
