Ive read both I read an interview with Roth once that he basically said the 2 brothers kind of ganged up on him and made things so difficult that he quit. Who knows. Hagar was a better musician anyway but not as wild and crazy a showman

Just crazy how he made those songs. The bridge riff on jumper, made a 3 chord song “hows it gonna be” just instantly catchy with that melody. Ace left on his own and Peter became an unreliable hack due to alcohol and drugs. Even Ace voted to kick Peter tot he curb. Too bad Eric Carr didn’t audition originally KISS would’ve been even more awesome than they were.
