Terrible was a bit of hyperbole, but it just didn't do much for me. Found it kind of boring.

Arcade Fire (although, thankfully, it seems their steam has finally run its course)

Tupac

Justin Timberlake

Wilco

The Knife

Burial

Beach House

Bon Iver - that album they had a few years ago that was getting hype completely sucked balls

eta: The National is so fricking boring

I like Nirvana and I always have, but I don't understand why they were the main cause of a whole socio-cultural explosion. I mean they're ok, but jeez, not like history-altering good.

Timing more than anything. People were sick of the hair bands and desperately looking for something else, then Nirvana and Pearl Jam came along.

I've tried dan, I really have, but Nirvana songs just sound the same to me, they sound simple. Nevermind being considered one of the top albums of all time is just mind blowing to me

I actually like In Utero better than Nevermind

Sit down and listen to In Utero some time all the way through when you're bored and tell me thats not a fricking solid album

I'll go in with an open mind...I'll really have to trick myself into believing that I'm not listening to fricking Nirvana

I think thinking Radiohead sucks has become so hip and is even more of a mainstream opinion than liking them, making liking Radiohead become the contrarian view on them

Funny how that works sometimes

It's a lot bleaker than Nevermind lyrically. You can kind of tell he's about to kill himself. I think it's a lot heavier, but still got a shitload of really good hooks.

Their fans seem to hate the only single that's worth a shite.

And I'm not to say it sux because I don't know that much about it, but I really don't get the big deal with Prince. Like at all.

Prince doesn't suck but I don't like his music very much either.

I'll say Beck. He's probably really good but I don't get it.
