Still incredible after all these years. And Cornell is one of the best rock singers of the past quarter century.

Anyone else still a fan of this album?

I miss the days when I'd go buy an album and just drive around listening to it - used to go from Slidell to Gulfport to buy music and just drive back on Hwy 90. Audioslave's first was one of those albums that I still remember that drive. Hell of a good album.

Cornell is an underrated talent. The guy also has his head screwed on straight. Great lyricist and singer.

Cornell's a legend. Saw Soundgarden on the Superunknown tour in New Orleans, and he killed it. Hit all those high notes live. Great vocalist in his prime.

Gave them all a listen to just the other day. I still enjoy all 3.

It was honestly a disappointment for me because it lacked some of the energy of the Citizen demos

I have been playing "Like a Stone" on my acoustic for days. It is a beautiful tune. I have to hum the lyrics, though. I definitely don't do his words justice!

I am not your rolling wheels, I am the highway.

I jammed that album while I insulated my house last summer. The whole thing is great.

I think Cornell was at his best on Temple of the Dog. He doesn't get enough credit for that album.

Yes indeed. I love how it's more melodic which allowed Cornell to really show his range.

Agreed. Hell I am still a fan of the Cornell solo album between Soundgarden and Audioslave.

The solo in Like a Stone will always be awesome.

That's how you make a creative, melodic and tasteful solo.

It's what makes the noisemaker (Morello) so frustrating. When tempered by more realistic concerns and a more conventional business model in Audioslave, he can deliver, as he did on the Audioslave records. At the end of the day, I listen to RATM for the rhythm section and largely ignore Zach and the noisemaker. If he woke up with 1/4 of Thayil's talent tomorrow, he would die from the shock. But, he was great with Audioslave.

Good shite. I like Out of Exile better, but still a solid album
