Does anyone have an Amazon Echo Studio for around the house?
Has really good reviews, thinking about grabbing one to just drag around to different rooms and outside.

Lol. Did someone really downvote Miles Davis? What a world

Very nice. I’m still waiting for a proper audiophile repress of Workin’ with the Miles Davis Quintet. It has one of my all time favorite tracks by him… It Never Entered My Mind.
Mingus
Acoustic Sounds Reissue
This just showed up over the weekend, and finally had a chance to sit down and listen. Sounds nice.

Ariel- Rock and Roll Scars
1975- Harvest UK pressing
I was lucky enough to stumble across this obscure album a few weeks ago. And also very lucky to find it on vinyl. An Australian band that never took off. The album was never released in the states, but it is a hidden gem. Anyone that loves 70s rock should check this out. There is a deluxe edition on streaming services that include demos for a concept album that never came to be, The Jellabad Mutant. It is fantastic as well.

Sold all my stereo gear in Jan., in preparation for a move to Europe. Just purchased a new receiver and a pair of speakers: Cambridge CAX61 and a pair of Elac Unifi 2.0. Sound is simply stunning. Will pick up a phono in about 2 weeks. Probably going with the Rega P1 Plus.

One of my all time favorite late night jazz records finally got a decent affordable reissue. Remastered from the original analog tape transfers (still not sure what this means exactly, but it sounds great) by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, pressed at Pallas. Put out by a new reissue label from the UK called New Land. This is their first release.
Mulligan
Night Lights
Philips (1963) / New Land Reissue (2021)
Favorite track - Prelude in E Minor
Getz & Byrd
Jazz Samba
Verve (1962) / Analogue Productions Reissue (2013)
Desafinado

Might just go with something reliable and cost effective for now, we are building a house and will have a god spot for the records and a table
