I threw this out there for another poster, but he had to back out. I’m trying to move my VPI Nomad if you’re interested. It has an ortofon red cart and has a built in phono. Great starter table.... I think it was around $1200 retail if I remember correctly.

I’ve said it before, these Tone Poets & BN80 series transport you right into the club! Got me hooked on Jazz right now bc they sound so goddam good. Sometimes I catch myself just sitting there for a few seconds, open-jawed and staring forward mesmerized.

Skinshape “Umoja”, 2020

If any of you are in a new music rut, check this out. I came across it on a “Best of 2020 so far” list, streamed it a few times, and ordered the LP. It’s like a Reggae, Funk/Soul, Psychedelic Rock blend. Available on Spotify, but if you want a physical copy you’ll have to be patient. It took a whole 29 days to get here from the UK. Luckily vinyl arrived in good shape and plays well.
