Jamey Johnson
Rolling Stones (like about 3 of their songs)
George Jones
Erik b and rakeem
Dmb
Immortal Technique (mostly because of his politics and stuff, but his lyrics are crazy good)

For me it is Led Zeppelin. Every damn song has been over played on the radio. I loved them, but damn that radio.

Widespread Panic. I feel like everyone likes them but they are horrrible. The I cannot stand the lead singers voice and the drum beats are so vanilla.
Widespread Panic
Radiohead

One more. Brace yourselves.
The Beatles.
I've tried. I've put in a good faith effort. I keep hearing this average band. Every time, just an average band. Which is weird because I've been told repeatedly by many different people that The Beatles are the greatest band of all time.

Not sure how anyone that likes country could not like JJ, but that's just me.
For me, I don't get the love for Pearl Jam, WSP, DMB, and Grateful Dead.

Soundgarden. I love pretty much every band from early 90s Seattle... I even own a Seven Year Bitch album. I don't hate 'em, but I just could never get into 'em like everyone else.
Sonic Youth is probably the best example for me, though. I love the idea of them, and I really tried to like them... I just don't. I respect the hell out of them, but I don't actually like their music.

even Teenage Riot?
I like Sonic Youth somewhat, not a huge fan or anything. But Teenage Riot is one of my favorite songs ever.

I've tried so hard to get into Radiohead and just cant seem to dig them.
I respect everything theyve done and can acknowledge their talent, but just can't personally get on board. Kind of upsetting

I feel ya, man.
Radiohead, to me, is like one of those stereogram images, but before you figured out how to make the hidden picture pop out at you. I wish I heard what everybody else is hearing, but I don't.

Kendrick Lamar for the same reasons you listed for Childish.

I had a good friend that couldn't stand Widespread Panic in college and I ended up running into him at one of their concerts a few years later. He said he never gave them a chance in college but the more he heard the more they grew on him. They are definitely an acquired taste. I like their music and think they're great musicians but I wouldn't consider myself a big fan. Considering how awful most modern pop music is today, there are far bigger musical offenders than WP.

Led Zepplin... Though I've actually never felt the need to like them, they are usually the ones that draw the most question marks, when I mention I'm not a fan.
I would rather listen to the Eagles greatest hits, than them.
