Anyone going to see Marty Stuart in Shreveport this weekend?

Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives are playing in Shreveport at the Louisiana Grandstand. It is a good venue for a concert - only 400 seats, and none of the seats are bad. Anyone going?
The Wilder Blue played last weekend. It is a very talented band. It will be big stuff in the next couple of years.

Finally saw him here in KC about a year ago. One of guys in band was sick so he and the other two played. It was good but he only played maybe an hour. Kinda sucked since he was only one playing

Such an incredibly nice man. Down to earth and plain spoken. While I’m
not a big bluegrass fan, I really appreciate his efforts to keep the art form out front.

saw them here in Houston back in November on a Sunday night, the lack of crowd was embarrassing for Houton.
His band is uber uber talented. Would go see them in a heartbeat.

The show was great. The show was sold out, but with there being only 400 seats, everyone had a great view. He really liked the enthusiastic audience, and played a few extra songs as a result.
"I Got My Kicks on Route 66" was my personal favorite.
Stuart's mandolin work is incredible.

Did Chris Scruggs play “Wipe Out” on the standup bass?
Arguably the best band out there, imo.

Man, I would just love to hold that thing and see how it feels.
I wonder if Kenny Vaughn has ever played it?

I would bet he has played it. Kenny has his own Tele b-bender that he plays in shows now. He played it a lot when we saw the Superlatives last November. He talked about it in one of his interviews with Otis Gibbs. Helluva guitar player.
