In high school me and some buddies went to the mall to get U2 tickets. Before we made it to counter my friend found a bag under a bench that had $5k cash in it. We ended up sneaking into a sporting goods store and camped out so we could buy tickets with the cash and scalp them. We decided to purchase the max allotment that actually came out to be exactly $5k. Then some dudes started following us around and we got scared thinking we had stolen some money from some bad people. They chased us around the mall until they finally caught us. I thought we were dead. The whole thing was a setup and we actually were in a tv show. Craziest shite ever.

No, but I did drive to Pensacola once to buy tickets for a concert in New Orleans (before they went on sale locally...they are an hour ahead of us).

I went with my girlfriend. We made a day of it, spent the night there, then drove back the next day.

Many times..but in the mid 80s in VA, the first time I went to get tickets by myself to Poison/Ratt/etc show...I was in line with a bunch of people who I did not think were Poison fans, but did not know.

Anyways, get up there and get two tickets and get home.

I was proud, and my mom was laughing at me..she asked me what did I buy? Well, I actually got two tickets to a Grateful Dead show. My mom was like, you should go to see a different scene as I had never heard of them at the time...

and frankly, I appreciated the music and show and still listen to the Dead to this day.

But what an idiot I was back then...(mom did eventually get me the Poison tickets )

I’m old, fall of 1973 got to the ticket window of the Lake Charles Civic Center, I think that’s what it was called, around 7AM to get tickets for Grand Funk Railroad, think they went on sale at 10:00 AM there was quite a line by then.

Twice. Both times for Rod Stewart tickets for the wife at the ticketmaster in Chalmette.

Got there at 10pm with a case of beer and a lawn chair. The first time cops had to be called an hour before the window opened because these idiot chicks who were second in line had their friends meet them and left 5 more people in line.

I told them either i was getting my tickets before them or nobody was getting tickets. they called their guys to come help and these 2 dudes behind me who had just gotten back from Iraq were like call who you want, we'll frick them up.

old lady at the window said "i'll call the cops". I said well, get to it then. none of these people who cut in line are getting tickets before me.

cops showed up. the current sheriff who i went to high school with was one of the cops. told them what happened and they kicked the necomers out of line.

Did it for the Kiss Reunion tour. It was me and my cousin and like 8 other people.

Used to get to the St. Bernard Civic auditorium early for tickets to concerts and Mid South Wrestling.
