Any Ramones fans here ?
Just came across this video from Germany 1978 on YouTube. Pretty good quality video for it's age.
Great band ! They pretty much defined a style of Rock n Roll.
Hard to believe all of the original members are gone.

I liked one or two songs they put out but did not like them.

I'll put it this way, the ring tone for my cell phone is I Wanna Be Sedated. (Which got quite a laugh from the surgeon who performed my double bypass when I told him right before I went into the O.R.)

Absolutely. They were such brilliant jarring response to the indulgences of the era. Better than the Sex Pistols. Their first two albums are classics now. Saw them live in '85 Bucknell University.

I saw their Adios Amigos tour. It was great and I attribute some of my hearing loss to that concert.

Saw them over 10 times from ‘78-85. They were my favorite band in that timeframe.

I'm pretty sure I got their entire "It's Alive" album (double album) on one 60-minute cassette

That album and Loco Live are both fantastic live albums.
On Loco Live - they play the theme from the Good, The Bad, and the Ugly as the band is taking the stage...pretty good way to start a show !

Marky does a show on Sirius first wave and digs into the Ramones and punk vault quite a bit. Including some great stories.
Almost worth the subscription price for me.

If you love Rock n Roll and are over 50 you love the Ramones.

As Little Steven defined the mission statement for the Underground Garage:
"We play the bands that influenced The Ramones, the bands that were influenced by The Ramones, and The Ramones."

Saw them over a dozen times over the years. Once had a drink in Panama City with Joey at 10am in the morning. Best Show was in Louisville around 1989/1990. I love the Ramones.

I saw them when they opened for Pearl Jam in 95 at Tad Gormley stadium.
I remember it was extremely hot so every time we made it to the very front after a while you would let the bouncer pull you over the fence so breathe again. And then fight to get back to front all over again.
