My daughter's favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I took her to their concert in Vegas last August.

We are not the same...

I’ve probably spent that much at gentleman’s clubs over the past 20 years … I’m betting I had more fun than you.

We saw her at a private concert that we were invited to. She was peripheral to the whole deal. It cost more to get there than $25k.

My daughter’s first concert was Tool and her favorite band is Flogging Molly, so no. The answer is no.

OP has set up his future son in law to fail.

You may as well warn the guy up front what you’ve done.

My wife and daughter are going to see her in Nashville in May. Couldn't get tickets in Atlanta. We surprised her with the tickets at her 13th birthday party. We paid a little over $800 for them...worth $8k to see her reaction. I am a cheap bastard and hate to spend any money on anything...but there ain't no luggage racks on any hearse I ever saw and our daughter is about as close to a good kid as kids get. By the time they get back from Nashville I am sure we will be $3K lighter in the wallet and that is a heaping pile of money...but 90 days from then we won't realize it and 10 20 and 30 years from now she will remember the trip and my wife and I will have no idea where that money went had we not spent it on our daughter. We make money to live, we do not live to make money....

Wife and I will be there in Nashville. Her third Swift concert I believe, my first. Been a big fan since Red released. By all reports it looks like it's a hell of a show and well worth the $400 something face value I paid.

I doubt he is smart enough to see that. He wouldn't say anything if he did. Too scared.

For that kind of money, T-Swift should have to blow you. At least a handjob for gold members.

No, but that's not really bad for 30 concerts for 2, Mom & Daughter. $350 per concert for 2 is actually on the cheapskate side. Quit your bitching or earn mire cash!

Face Value G.A. tickets for most major acts these days is at min $125 each. So if they only spent $100 outside of the tickects then you actually have done well.

I made 3 of a 4 Night run at The Fabulous Fox Theater this summer. $125 tickets each night, $350 per night hotel across the street, $50 dinner, $100 drinks, $40 tesla tabs, $50 miscellaneous

So thats $715 per night excluding travel expenses.
