I'd love to see The National play JF. They are in Ohio the first weekend and open until the end of May when the play Boston Calling.

Jack White has been announced as a headliner at a couple of other festivals. He could be a possibility.

You'll get the best idea of what non-NOLA bands may come bychecking JamBase or Pollstar and see who's playing Dallas, Houston, etc. the days before Fest days.

Buffett has flown around a couple times. Bob Seger was thrown around a couple months ago. Jack Johnson is a rumor too.

I’ve seen him at Pilgramage twice. He dropped in to play guitar for Amanda. And once he brought his baby girl on stage.

Heard the isbell rumor without a day attached.

Isbell just announced a few more tour dates and sets up perfectly for Friday, 2nd weekend.

Always fun to see.

One of my favorite live concert experiences was when he did Battle of Evermore at Bonnarroo in 2008

Seems like a lot of the late night shows have been announced by now in years past.

When does jazzfestgrids.com start updating for 2018?

Manchester Orchestra will be there. Per a guy I know.

They seem to be hitting the festival circuit pretty hard this year, so it makes sense.

I would like to see Sheryl Crow return to JF. I think the last time she was there was 2008.

Was there. My comment stands. He publicly made it very clear he did not want to play festivals in 2017 (shortened sets, higher ticket prices and lower quality — not a recipe he wants to give his fans). He’s said in 2018 he might do a few.

A premiere jazz fest slot wouldn’t be as bad as a mid tier slot at a 3 day wristband fest- which is why I think that it’s legit.

Also Chris robinson doing a black crowes set (as the crow flies) at the joy. Says he doesn’t care to do the obscure stuff and misses singing the classics for the fans. Should be a fun set.
