Any Band Covering Any Song, Ever.

If you could hear any band throughout history cover any song ever recorded, what would it be?
I'd like to have heard Stone Temple Pilots take on "One Thing Leads to Another," by The Fixx. The song has a slippery, bass-heavy groove the DeLeo brothers could really sink their teeth into and I can imagine Scott Weiland having lots of fun with the vocals.

Cornell did a lot of covers. I would have loved to hear what his "Unchained Melody" would have sounded like.

The song- I’m not Lisa- Jessi Colter
I have thought for a long time it would be cool for a number of male artists from douchey to cool to cover this and release it as an album.
Marilyn Manson
Rob Zombie
Luke Bryan
Boy George
Tom Jones
Dwight Yoakam
Shooter Jennings
Willie Nelson
Snoop Dog

This is an excellent take

OK this is gonna sound weird. I would have liked to hear Whitney Houston cover Neon Knights by Black Sabbath. If she took it seriously (singing in an authentic rock voice), she would have nailed it.
The reason I thought of this is because I've always thought that her career was a colossal waste of her talent. Clive Davis was all about making maximum bank, which means Whitney was singing garbage like "I Wanna Dance with Somebody." If she had come of age in the '60s she would have had an amazing catalog. But I grew up on hard rock, and I think she could have covered any of the strong rock singers like Dio, Dickinson, etc.

Pantera covering "I Want A New Drug" by Huey Lewis & the News would be incredible.
Or maybe Type O Negative. Would love to have heard either version.

The Plimsouls Peter Case singing 'Oldest Story in the World' always struck me as very Westerbergian..like an unofficial Replacements tune. Intro, guitars, raspy vocals, lyrics(bashing record industry),etc..
