No Sonic Youth / Pavement / Pain Teens ? it was at some old grocery store if i recall.

Also saw Soundgarden/Pearl Jam and another act there in 91 or 92.

another great Houston show from that era was Screaming Trees with Babes in Toyland. forget where.

Yes sonic youth! Lost my stub. Pain teens played at that grocery store where dead horse played.. shite if I can remember the name.

Eta unicorn was a converted Kroger... That's not what you're talking about right?

not sure what the hell it was ... Unicorn rings a bell. I just remember it feeling like a big grocery store with a big arse parking lot. Vedder and Cornell did get on stage and play that Temple of the Dog song.

Pavement was just breaking out .... what a lineup that was.

Some nice shows... though Primus stands out as a stinker for me...

I wish I saved all my stubs from those days (kinda)...

JW, did you see L7 is trying to tour with the original lineup? get on the horn to Donita, KC would be very appreciative..

Houston International Ballroom off 90 just south of the Astrodome? It was a converted K-mart I think. Black Crowes played there mid 90's.

Yep that was it. The mosh pit was dangerous as hell because of that gutter/ditch that ran along the front of the stage

L7 ftee at Emos good times! Still have the T-shirt. I remember the white bartender with the dreadlocks had the hots for the lead singer.

I also meet siouxsie at emos after the unicorn concert..i was the only one in the bar and she came in with her band and sat down next to me and we chatted for about an hour straight.

I even have a photo of us but the hell I'm posting on here.
