Out of curiosity why Beatles For Sale?

The Fabs had evolved a bit by this release with some great originals and interesting covers. This is the record I grab first when I'm in a Beatles mood.

Tool- Lateralus (more accessible than Aenima)
Mastodon - Crack the Skye
Who- Who's Next
Led Zeppelin- II
Pearl Jam - Vs (mixture of 10- style stuff, but also precursors to where they go in later years)
Foo Fighters - There is Nothing Left to Lose
STP - Tiny Music

Again, not everyone's best album. But the best introduction.

Have you ever actually encountered someone who said, “I wanna get into Goatwhore, but I don’t know where to begin...”

Radiohead: OK Computer - A somewhat boring and safe pick given the depth of their catalog, but probably the best choice for those who want to experience every facet of their sound.

Pink Floyd: Meddle - DSOTM is arguably the greatest album ever recorded so that's one you'd want a new fan to work his way up to. Meddle is a solid album and, if you don't enjoy it, then Pink Floyd probably just isn't for you. If you do, then there is a lot of really good music left for you to experience.
