100% agree. Can't wait to hear what's next from them.

All of that and no mention of george strait :smh: he had been around since 81 but put out some great albums in the 90s as well.

There was plenty of good country put out in the 90's, but I don't know if I'd say it was the best decade ever.

Does anyone remember the Merle album titled 1996?

Who is Moreland y'all speak of? I looked it up and I don't see a "Moreland". Cause I do enjoy some Sturgill

90's brought too much pop into country and has made country what it is today. I miss the Verne Gosdin's of country.

Na man 60's and 70's country produced the kings of country music.

To call most of the '90s era country garbage is being nice about it. Corny, painfully tacky, saccharine, twangy hack bullshite is more apt a description.

80's was the best

You start out the 80's with George Jones-He stopped loving her today

you throw in some Hank Jr.'s greatest hits

you finish the decade with Clint Black and Garth Brooks first albums

and in the middle you got Randy Travis and Alan Jackson

and then, as if that is not enough, all decade you have my all time favorite

GEORGE STRAIT

In the 70s you had 5 of the top 10 country artists of all-time at their peaks. IMO it's easily the best

Jones
Hag
Willie
Cash
Jennings
