And I thought my musical taste was eclectic.

Never thought I would see John Mayer, Luke Combs, Seminole Wind, and Alternative Metal all in one wrap up.

i didn't realize it either. i actually listen to alot of songs on repeat, too. i'll hear a song and it hits me in a way that i have to hear it over and over again until it pushes whatever i was feeling out.

I am a bit surprised by some of these actually, and others I fully expected. I laughed when I saw that "OK Dude" was my top listen, and am still laughing while typing this sentence. Bahamas being above the GOAT Van is shocking, but I think that's because I can't stop listening to that new record. It's fantastic! I am very surprised that Neil Francis wasn't in either top artist or song, because I played his stuff plenty. I think a lot has to do with me playing the vinyl at home though and not using Spotify

Genres all line up correctly I think, except for "mellow gold." What the hell is that?

Top Artists
1. Bahamas
2. Van Morrison
3. Led Zepplin
4. Sturgill Simpson
5. John Prine

Top Songs
1. OK Dude - Zuby
2. Just Breathe - Pearl Jam
3. Always Alright - Alabama Shakes
4. Use Me - Bill Withers
5. 10 Yrs Gone - Led Zepplin

Top Genres
1. Rock
2. Mellow Gold (whatever that is)
3. Jazz
4. Indie Folk
5. Alt metal

I think I could venture a guess at your favorite album of the year. I was a little surprised RTJ wasn’t one of my top artists this year.

I think there is something hinky going on with some of this stuff.

Like you, Rutiger, my top 5 songs were all RTJ. I'm not sure that's accurate. Yes, top song for sure (Ooh La la) and maybe walking in the snow... but I think there are some songs by other artists that should be in there.

I almost wonder if I may have left that album on repeat or something one day without realizing it and with the volume off on my phone.

My wife thinks there is payola shenanigans going on with the year wrapped.
