Explosions in the Sky at the LKA Longhorn, Stuttgart Germany. November 11, 2011. Great show that my buddies had to drag me to.

Kid Rock New Orleans Smoothie center 2012..

Was not interested in going wife got me a ticket to the show to go with her and my son.

I went in not expecting much but was blown away by way he worked the stage and the crowd. I came out impressed by Kid Rock as a musician.

Saw them first for Fables, '85 I guess, when 10,000 Maniacs opened. Got to talk to them after the show. Were you there?

Was never really a huge fan of Beck, but his live set at the Hangout was really good. I kept saying, "I had totally forgot about this song."

1) I went to the much rock concert for Shinedown at UNO Lakefront last Friday. First, Whiskey Myers took the stage and really rocked. Next was Black Stone Cherry followed by Lizzy Hale and Halestorm, and they both were very rock too. Finally, Shinedown brought the house down. In conclusion, that was one of the most very rock concerts I've ever seen.

Ricky Van Shelton- went with a buddy in 92. Doug Stone and Toby Kieth opened. He was good.

Jason Castro from American Idol. All acoustic. He's a really good singer. Saw him at Artbreak in Shreveport a few years ago. I only went because my wife was running the event and I was just up there with her.

Garth Brooks at the Monroe Civic Center. Never cared for him but got free tickets so I took the chick I was dating at the time. Dude put on a hell of a show.

Billy Squier at Thomas Assembly Center. Saga opened for him and blew him out of the water. It was just bad. Hell, I'd never even heard of Saga, but I damned sure knew who they were about 2 songs into their set. AMAZING.

1-Boston this summer. Friend had a date that bailed and she called at the last minute. I'm thinking-Cynthia Woods, hot as hell, $12 beers, etc. But 5th row center. I went and they rocked. Glad I had earplugs.

2-Dr. John. So pumped to see one of my favorite artists of all time. Dude had to be helped to the stage, never once interacted with the audience. Sorry for being there Night Tripper.

March 2000, i was a 17 year old Jr in HS, a few of my friends were going see this band at Grant Street in Lafayette called Incubus, I had listened to them from being around my friends and kinda liked them but wasnt really a "fan" like they were. I didnt want to go because i was afraid i wouldn't be able to get in and didnt think they'd be worth it. Turns out the guy at the door wasnt really checking and barely glanced at my license. That was an amazing show and soon after they blew up. I'll never forget it.

Saw them twice there. Two consecutive years. Pretty sure 10,000 Maniacs opened one and Fetchin Bones opened the other. First one sounded poor. Second one was awesome. From a search:

19 November 1985 - Saenger Theatre, New Orleans, LA
support: 10,000 Maniacs

12 September 1986 - Saenger Theatre, New Orleans, LA
support: Fetchin' Bones

AlxTgr,

Yep. Those were the two I saw as well. Actually, I saw them for five tours in a row starting with Fables.

My Morning Jacket in Dallas in 2008 or 2009.

I had only heard some of their studio albums and thought it was kind of slow and boring. Went to the show with some friends and it was INCREDIBLE. Became a fan after that.

1) AWOL Nation. I hated that "Sail" song, and really didn't want to see them. But man, they rocked live. The concert peaked when the singer brought out a surf board and literally crowd surfed.

2) Bright Light Social Hour - I really liked their album. Saw them at the Varsity, terrible show.
