This movie is like Sucker Punch, you thought it was a Zombie movie but it was really a story about the murder of a caring dad by his entitled daughter. The daughter knew that they were going into a dangerous zombie infested zone and knew that it would put her father and everyone on the team in danger if she went. Insist anyway using emotional blackmail.
Even when he tried to have a heart to heart with her she rebuffed his attempted, finally at the end, with a nuke coming down where her dad and friend could have made a clean get away, she ran away forcing them to stop their escape to get her.
At the end, she got what she wanted most, to put a bullet between his eyes and walk away in satisfaction. Note she didn't give a shite about the woman she was supposedly helping. It was just a ruse for her to murder her dad.

Currently watching it now. The Chambers chicks death was laughably bad and was 100% preventable. 
Also as others have said, the camera focus/ out of focus is pretty distracting and annoying.

Right lol it was such a big ordeal for the daughter to rescue the woman then you have the helicopter crash at the end and the daughter gave zero fricks about her.

I liked that first 15 minutes but not much of the rest.
One thing that bothered me was the parachute guys in the opening montage. What was the plan there? Land in the middle of a mass of zombies, shoot a few on your way down and then be killed? Am I missing something?

Overall is was fun but mother fricker it was stressful watching idiots.
1) military guys getting told to get the frick out “derp, what was that? Get out? Hey guys let’s go look at this thing and maybe think about leaving?”
2) I hate SoA butt rape guy so much
3) they always have to watch somebody die and get eaten but can’t shoot the damn zombie in the head while it’s preoccupied eating
4) constant looking back for a zombie to do something for god knows how long
5) why do do everything so slow in what was 20 min to leave the area and get out of blast zone. MFers walking to the helicopter
6) can those bitches not help Bautista fight off the zombie in the helicopter?

I’m pretty sure they just closed the vault door, but didn’t lock it.

I got an hour and change into it last night and I’m enjoying it. Everything is good so far, but I don’t really give two shits about Batista’s daughter. If they had to cut anything it would be her.
Why the hell does the military have a super zombie? Seems like they would have tranquilized that sombitch for the ride.

Watched this Saturday night and thought it was pretty bad.

I tried to like this, but found it to be so predictable, boring and long that even the decent action scenes couldn’t save it. I enjoy a good zombie romp, but not this one.

It took me 3 sittings to finish it. Not usually the marker of a good movie.

It sounds like a cool idea. But I get way too analytical watching Zombie movies. If the guy just wanted an Alpha and they are worth 2 billion. Why not send a mercenary squad in to capture one? Sneak in and out (the helicopter idea was dumb and hauling all that fuel). The guy and girl got the head easy. It wasn't that hard. An organized squad could have done it quick and pretty cheap.
Also, the military couldn't wipe out those zombies and take back the city? They weren't that hard to kill and they were contained.
Lastly. Why don't people wear the proper BDUs and PPE in fights with zombies? Just don't give them anywhere to bite you. People are going in with sleeveless shirts. It's idiotic..
