How does YouTube TV do with the live shows? I've had Hulu Live for quite awhile but lately it seems to hesitate a lot when I'm watching live TV. I have gigabit internet. Seriously considering switching to YouTube TV since I've heard it performs better.

I have little to no issues like that with YTTV. I'm pleased.

I've had YTTV, Sling, and DTVNow.

YTTV is far and away the best experience i've had.
It also allows for 3 concurrent streams so i can split the membership/cost with someone.

I just switched from Dish to YTTV about a month ago. I have zero complaints. I haven't participated in any game/watch threads so I can't say if it lags live TV, but I've had zero buffering or hesitation on any live shows I've watched.

Sometimes re-booting your modem and router will clear up those issues. My tech buddy recommended I do it every Saturday morning last fall to avoid it happening during a college football game.

Never really had a problem with YTTV though. I did have that problem when I did a Hulu Live trial.

Hulu Live was great until YTTV upped their price. Seems a lot of people have jumped over to Hulu and they haven't added servers to handle the traffic increase.

Stream YTTV through XBox, SonyTVs and Rokus.

Roku has the most little issues. XBox or straight though TV app is solid.

Recently cut the cord and switched to YouTube TV. Best decision I have ever made when it comes to TV. Have had no issues with loading/buffering. I highly recommend it.

This. Also worth noting that if you're an NFL fan, now that they've add the NFL Network and the sports package including the Redzone channel, it's a no-brainer.

As others have said, no issues with YouTube TV. We love it! Some say it's expensive, but you get a lot of content, unlimited DVR and no boxes to rent!

I'm one of those people and I already regret it. Hulu live sucks.

I wanted to offer a PSA for people that left YTTV for price. I did and hated Hulu. A buddy of mine offered to split his YTTV service. I figured he would give me his login and I'd just make a profile in his account. Instead, he shared his account as a family member thing with my already created YTTV account. When I logged in, all of my settings and recordings were saved. It was like I never canceled. Now, I believe I will still need to have my buddy get on my account while at his home every 3 months to avoid issues, but I thought I'd share the very smooth process of splitting an account.

Following. Just moved into a house with ATT fiber, and I already had HULU basic, so I upgraded to HULU plus live TV.

At night when watching TV, only one TV, and nothing else using internet in the house, I will get a few 5 second buffers, and once in a while the channel freezes and I get a message that "something went wrong", and I have to restart HULU.

Being new to it, I wasn't sure if this was me or HULU, but it sounds like HULU. I picked them over YTTV for the history channel, as we watch it a lot.

NFL Channel in their standard channel package, or is it an addon?

NFL Network is included with the standard package but Redzone is an addon for $11 month plus several other minor sports channels
