Thing is, we’re not really seeing that much (hardly any) cutting. We’re seeing reigning. And mostly just spins and sliding stops. They could devote an entire episode to either one and I’d be fine with it.

She didn’t encourage him to go back on his word to John, she flat out told him she wouldn’t be with him unless he rode again. So he does what she wants, gets hurt and now has to leave because he listened to her and she’s blaming him for it? Yes that girl is the worst character on the show. She so bad she’s ruined Jimmy’s character who was actually on an interesting path before meeting her.

Sheridan has also written Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River. He’s written other movies but if you haven’t seen those three you should.

And? It can authentic and she can still be the worst character though I don’t know many women who are that sociopathic. Maybe you should reevaluate the women you hang around.

I forgot Sheridan left after three seasons because he wanted to do other things. Seems like sheridan just copied sutter's over the top formula for making a TV show with yellowstone

From just what I see at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and just watching, no special knowledge, cutting horse competitions are super cool. The ropers, wrestlers, racers, and bronc riders get the glitz and attention. They get the big show in NRG and the cutting horse, ranch sorting folks get the smelly Arena. But they do get the good bar upstairs! It's one of the more popular Corral Club bars!
It's truly hard to believe how they start with a cattle number and have to one by one sort them out and send them in without any of the rest getting away.
Y'all go watch it if you're at the rodeo. It's a lot quieter over there as well. And get you a brandy milk punch or a frozen Jack and Coke.

The Texas ranch deal is stupid. 10 percent of the show is watching horses run and stop. Even worse the guys on the Yellowstone act like they are inferior in every way.

I never cared for Walker and loved when Rip played his arse into helping dispose of that dead reporter's car to keep him in line. It was a fricked up move by Rip but it was an awesome power play by him. That being said, I've liked Walker in small doses lately, but the entire group of ranch hands including Lloyd and Jimmy are a fairly annoying bunch to me.
