Did you miss the part where she took Shauna’s journal and was reading it while crying?
Well shite, I clearly must have missed that.
I'll have to rewatch some of it.

Why the frick do people write things like this in journals? I've never understood why writing it down makes it better or helps anything.
I assume it's cathartic? If you can't tell anyone such a major secret, maybe it makes the person feel better to write it in a journal so it doesn't feel like they're holding it in?

Thought this episode was pretty good. Lot to digest

Haha. Yes, that’s pretty clear.
I think it was like two episodes ago. Whenever Javi borrowed the knife, and they made it a point to show Shauna hiding the book in the rafters.

Just think how many people have been caught or busted over journals.
This show is uses a lot of 90s tropes, so I actually like that about this show. So much nostalgia- Doug and Clarissa explains it all wrote in journals, so I appreciate it. I agree with you however when it comes to real life. Burn them asap if you got em

I think the journals theme in tv/movies is to help progress the story or let viewers in on things. IDK. Writing in a journal may be more common than I know though. Not smart if its anything illegal.

I just saw an article with a screenshot of the journal that Shauna picked up in Jackie’s room. It has movies listed that came out after 1996. Pretty interesting.

This makes it sound woke, even if it isn't. What does they're being "wildly talented" have to do with anything?
Well they won the state championship, were undefeated and the flight that crashed was headed to Nationals.
It’s a part of the storyline, numbnuts. Keep your outrage to a minimum please.
Also, this show is great. Looking forward to the finale.

It’s very common for girls.

finally got to episode 9 and i don't know wtf is going on.
i thought it was about wrap up but, it's not even close.
the parts in the jungle are much better than the adult parts. except for maybe "what? there's no book club?"
sober travis can't get it up for natalie but, stoned travis rails jackie?
the shrooms make everyone sort of deliriously happy , then horny , then murderous?
jeff stealing the journals makes sense if he was strapped for cash. " we were gonna lose the store"
i just assumed the "you don't matter anymore" line was basically a "popular chick isn't very useful in the jungle" thing
at least the blonde chick went out swinging. i mean, we know that a few of them made it back. but, at that point there wasn't a lot of hope.

Something happening at the reunion maybe?
Or maybe another survivor we haven’t seen yet showing up. That would be cool too.
Someone we haven't yet seen will show up to the reunion. I would guess Jackie.

That would be a hell of a way to end the season imo.

Lottie is 1000% pit girl from the opening scene. BOOK IT!

That would be pure insanity. But, Sloth, I agree.

A good way to end it would be revealing who the leader is in the cult scene / showing us who is dead and then immediately shift to the present and we see that person show up at the reunion. My guess would be Jackie leader, Lottie dead.
