I'm really hoping that FF4 is next on the docket.
It would be easier and would be easier to move on from the Fox Universe since their previous attempts where terrible, no one would long for those characters.

Plus with Silver Surfer, Galactus and Doom, you have some top notch antagonists.

The Skrulls originally debuted in FF too. Marvel is introducing them in Captain Marvel, but that does leave the door open for Super Skrull.

Even further back, the Avengers versus X-Men limited series was a fight over bringing Magneto to an international body to stand trial for war crimes. The Avengers worked for the UN at the time, and the X-Men opposed extradiction of any mutant, even Magneto.

It's actually a pretty great miniseries with a great ending (Magneto submits to the jurisdiction of the court well before the climax, the climax is the trial itself).

Yeah Robert Downey would be tougher to replace if they continue with his character. I figured they’ll proceed with War Machine though.

The X-Men, fortified by the Phoenix force, were more than a match for the Avengers. Prince Namor the Submariner, was also in the story arc as a mutant.
But it was Cyclops Unleashed stalking the Avengers that was the wow moment, for me.

They are perfect foils for one another,

Wolverine vs Black Panther would be a more interesting fight. Adamantium vs vibranium. Neither could really hurt the other.

I'd rather see the Fantastic 4, just because I want Galactus in the MCU.

I agree that the Avengers could take the X-Men. Throw Magneto in on the X-Men and it's a different story.

I think Squirrel Girl is currently an Avenger which would give them the edge.

Jackman's Wolverine vs. The Avengers would have been awesome.

Jackman is great and owned the role but I really hope whoever they cast as the next Wolverine is more like his comic book counterpart. The best thing about Wolverine is he is short as hell (5'3) and it shocks the hell out of villains when he rages out on them.

People have kind of mockingly made these suggestions but .....

Daniel Radcliff is 5'5"

Josh Hutcherson is 5'7"

Scott Caan is 5'5"

I could see Caan pulling it off with his build and facial features. He’ll need to dye his hair though.

Height wouldn’t be an issue for me. Having that bad motherfricker attitude is more important.

If that's the case, then no one would be better than Jason Mamoa

Someone who’s short stocky and belligerent. I think many actors could pull it off.

Because of Milana Vayntrub's funbags or because her superpower is defeating villains way out of her league?
