I was clicking through the movie channels the other night and came across "Taps" from 1981. One of the cadet captain roles, J.C. Pierce, is played by Giancarlo Esposito, who ~30 years later became well known as Gus Fring in "Breaking Bad".

I've got one for you:

Matice (the substitute for John Clark in the new Jack Ryan TV series) is played by actor John Hoogenakker.

The same actor who plays.....

In the Bud Light TV commercial.

Please. I had no idea who that was and it wasn't until I googled the actors name that I realized who else had played.

Most of these other entries could be summed up to "I had no idea this actor/actress was in more than 1 movie".

I know not the intent of the thread, but "Taps" was the first feature film role for Sean Penn and the second for Tom Cruise and Giancarlo Esposito and either the first or second for Evan Handler.

Heck, except for an uncredited appearance as an extra as a child, I think it was Tim Hutton's second feature after Ordinary People.

The film is loaded with talent from very early in their careers.

Watching the Geico commercial with Stefon Diggs and the old white guy across the street looked familiar, after racking my brain for a few mins it hit me, he’s the “I Love You Man” guy from the bud light commercials in the 90s. Confirmed online, his name is Rob Fitzgerald

I've got a good one. SIAP. Not going back thru that many pages.

You remember Roy from the Junior Mint episode?

He recently went fishing with the annoying GEICO lizard.

His name is Sherman Howard.
