Would you have wanted this in the series finale of Breaking Bad?

Breaking Bad Confessions

I'm happy with the way everything ended. But, this kind of has my mind wandering.

Nope. Leave it as is.

Why? Other than the "Jesse doing okay" part, it's a very safe assumption that all the rest happened. Didn't really need to see it.

Eh, it seems too happy movie-ish to do something like that. Showing that emotion from Jesse and watching Walt fade off the way he wanted was just right.

The question is, what is the alternate ending going to be that they have on the DVD set? I'm guessing Jesse does pull the trigger

I'd really like some confirmation that Walt is dead. I know he probably is but someone said something about him being resuscitated in time, and it made me wonder.

No. The show did not need to lay everything out on a platter for you.

the lack of such Hollywood bullshite and audience hand-holding is EXACTLY what made BB such an all-time GREAT show

They should have had something about Jesse. I mean when you think about it, what is Jesse going to do now? Marie knows he was involved with Hank so it's not like he can just stay in ABQ. He has no money so it's not like he can use Saul's disappear guy because Saul has hightailed it to Cinnabon in Omaha.

So what's next for Jesse? Also, you don't think those NNs in jail are going to catch wind of the whole thing out of the clink and send someone after Skylar?

Meh, whatever. I won't dwell on it too much.

Jesse hasn't been heard from in months. Everyone already assumed he was gone, even his best friends. Unless someone lifted Jesse's prints in the lab, there is no reason to believe he'd be anywhere near ABQ. He's also a pretty resourceful guy. Something tells me he could make it out safely.

No. Show was about Walt, and the ending was more than satisfactory in his regard.

A friend brought that up and I said its not very consistent with how breaking bad is written or filmed. I just feel like it would be out of place and too happy/cliche

No. It was Walt's story, and they showed Walt getting closure with everyone.

Happy with the way it ended and I'm not sure a segment showing that Jesse is OK would have rung true anyway. If anything, having Jesse back in the life since he's the only one that can make that super meth would have made more sense.

Though, I always assumed that Jesse was broke but it is possible that he stashed the money that Saul gave him in between walking away from Vacuum Repair Guy and beating the crap out of Saul.
