If you ever say Hayden Christensen, then you need to follow it up with Natalie Portman in those same movies. She was atrocious. You can blame it on the writing all you want, but it doesn't excuse absolutely horrific acting.

We all know Portman can act, and even she couldn't pull off that crap Lucas wrote down.

He got to say "whoa..." in The Matrix, so I think he was good in that. Any movie he gets to give a bewildered look, and go "whoa..." is usually a good movie for him to be in. See also: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

it has come out that in the Star Wars episode IV, V and VI the actors ad-libbed a significant portion of the scenes. Lucas felt comfortable with the caliber of actors and their interpretations of the characters and he allowed it because he treated them as his equals.

When the episode I, II, and III were filmed the "I'M GEORGE LUCAS" effect took place and the young actors were completely intimidated by Lucas. So they acted off the script verbatim and the horrific writing really came out. it is a shame because the stories are so good but damn the words they are forced to say just ruin it all

and FTR nothing beats Sofia Coppolla in GFIII or Travolta in Broken Arrow
