And will soon surpass 2002's Spider-Man as the highest grossing superhero origin story of all-time.

Many box office analysts are speculating that it will enter the list of Top 5 highest grossing superhero films before it finishes its run. Congrats to Gal Gadot, Patty Jenkins, and the DCEU.

But hey, Ghostbusters sucked because we're all sexist. Not to mention we all hate DC despite loving this movie.

I have no problem with people hating the early films in the DCEU. I will be the first to tell you that they are flawed. But I found redeeming qualities in all three of those movies. My problem is with the people who seem to think those films were objectively bad and who think that anyone who has a contrary opinion is obviously a moron. We have quite a few people like that on this board.

this film actually had humor and color. You know things that comic books actually have.

People don't want black and gray comics with no humor unless it is a well-done Batman movie. No way in hell should any DC hero have their colors and humor toned down except for the bat.

OK, you say this:

But then this:

It is objectively bad and BvS is the worst film I've see in the theater since "The Last Airbender". Only the biggest fanboy could possibly defend that movie as not being the biggest pile of shite wide released comic book movie in over a decade. It is objectively horrible and every moment has multiple plot holes that you could fly a 737 through.

Like why would Lex Luthor use his own prototype bullets to frame Superman of murder? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

You want to know something? The fact that you hate this film with every fiber of your being does not subtract from my enjoyment of this movie at all. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that's just a fact.

Too bad I never read a comic book - unless you count flipping through Archie comics while in the check-out line at the grocery story when I was a kid.

I'm not invested in these characters like most of you are. Everything I know about them I get from the movies.

Well I'm glad you enjoy it, but it doesn't change that it's an objectively awful movie.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone's got one. There's no such thing as an objectively bad film. That implies that everyone hates it. I know people who actually enjoyed films like The Last Airbender and Battlefield Earth. All film is subjective. You may say you hate a film but that doesn't mean everyone hates it.

You want to know another film that is currently sitting at 29% on Rotten Tomatoes? The Alamo (2004). And I personally believe that was one of the most underrated films of 2004.

But look at the BvS audience score. Nearly 3 out of every 4 people who watched the film...liked it. So clearly your opinion is a minority one.

I didn't like the movie either but it's still an opinion.

I would like to meet the person who said that they liked "The Last Airbender" so I could get them institutionalized. That's the single worst movie of all time given how great the source material is. Battlefield Earth is at least in the territory that its so bad it's good. Not the former though.

You're right. BvS should certainly be lower than a 29%.

It's now down to 60%, but I don't respect the average audience's opinion. There's a reason the Transformers franchise is still around and Avatar is by far the highest grossing film of all time. It's because the average movie goer is stupid.

Of the 321,000 who gave it a rating on Rotten Tomatoes, right at 30% of them liked The Last Airbender. That's almost 100,000 people right there.

And the fact that you think that The Last Airbender is the worst movie ever made tells me that you haven't watched a lot of movies. I hated that film but I have seen far worse.

That's 100,000 people who are idiots. Out of the most reviled films of all time, I'd shocked if it's not in the Top 5 if not #1. The Phantom Menace would probably exceed it, but not by much.

So you're a stuck up film snob. Thanks for clarification. Carson's private room is two doors down on the right.
