Some of my favorite art that showcase what a fierce and powerful woman she is.

Screw that. Where are the pics of Gal Gadot?

Just got out and I thought it was fantastic. Ever since BvS, I couldn't wait for her standalone film, and I thought it was everything it needed to be. She's so damned wide-eyed and charming.

Alright just got out of it. Shocking, but DC couldn't make a decent film to save their lives. Shitty characters, crappy story, incomprehensible dialog, awful visuals, and I'm just fricking with all of you this movie was simply fantastic.

This film was just great and easily measures with the best Marvel has made and easily DC's best film since The Dark Knight. Of the modern superhero movies, I'd say only Logan and the Winter Soldier are better.

Diana was great, Steve Trevor was amazing, and the supporting cast was fantastic as well. And finally, a comprehensible plot that matches with emotional tone and doesn't blindly disregard anything not directly shown on screen. And actual good humor. Thank fricking Christ that at least the people behind this film figured it out.

It is such a tonal difference than what DC has given us previously. You never, ever think if you had background that Wonder Woman and the rest of the DCEU were in the same universe; you'd surely be asking if she was a Marvel character. It really gives you a whiplash effect on how different it is.

So for the sequel, give me Wonder Woman: Pacific Front. That would fricking awesome.

3.5 out of 4 stars

Just imagine if this Wonder Woman had more color and blue eyes to match like Wonder Woman is supposed to have....

That's a huge missed opportunity for DC and that could've been easily fixed with FX.

I just got out and these are my feelings as well. I'm gonna let this movie marinate in my mind a little bit more but these are my same feelings as well.

Hopefully DC takes a good lesson from this and understand the simple fact that the absence of Zack Snyder's involvement alone is what made this movie as good as it can be, a good director like Patty Jenkins made it much better.

This movie being as good as it is without Zack Snyder's help is even more evidence of why he needs to be fired and hopefully DC has gotten the hint by now.

I'm usually a sucker for tall blondes, but GG may very well be flawless. My wife doesn't get the appeal, but I'm here to tell you I could watch her all day.

Speaking of Marvel movies, one complaint I have with the movie is how meh Ares was. He had like 10 minutes of screen time.

You really need to let this nitpicky shite go. She's perfect as is.

That's one of the few flaws of this movie. I kind of saw it coming from a mile away. Whenever Diana just mindlessly said we need to go to Germany because that's where Aries would be, I thought "why could she say for certainty that Aries was on the Germans side? Maybe he's somewhere else and supplying them from a distance. It's not like the Germans had a monopoly on the evil in the same way they did in WWII".

And then the guy who the movie wants you to assume is Aries is established to have a supplier from the start, and I just assumed the supplier was Aries. And then when that guy showed up to the bar, I was confident he was Aries. Should have just had the German guy producing the stuff on its own.

This is just nitpicking though, and doesn't really detract from the movie.

Man, give it a rest. He cast the perfect Wonder Woman. Just enjoy the movie without gritting your teeth and shaking your fist at the credits.

Oh wow, he made a good casting choice. I think Henry Cavill was a good casting choice for Superman, but we've gotten nothing but shite thanks to a shitty vision and direction for the character.

Was really damn solid. I thought they nailed every aspect except for making Ares character intimidating. The actor would deserve an Oscar if he had.

But all around, I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Also I think they did a great job of not making GG just eye candy. Not that she's a fantastic actress but they didn't go for any sort of smut with her and that was to be commended. I say that as male a chauvenistsic member of the patriarchy.
