Rena Sofer has some of the most piercing blue eyes I can remember. They tried to cast her in the "Susan" role of NBC's ill-fated US adaptation of the BBC hit Coupling.

Anyone who doesn't believe me should go search for nude stills of her from the movie Heaven's Prisoners (with Alec Baldwin, set in Louisiana). We're talking fried eggs hanging on a nail as if she were 60 - instead of the 32 she actually was at the time.
This is a trauma from which I've never fully recovered...
