I'm OK with Spidey having the crown.

Kudos.

But will it be Ultron bank or Infinite War bank?

I'm betting it beats Spider Man.

I will take that bet.

I'm not sold on Doomsday and theoretically I'm the target audience.

Spiderman is the center of the appeal. Not Captain America with a hammer and not Iron Man with a green cape don't interest me. They had an arc and a payoff. You can't just snap it away in the audience's mind.

I think they make Ultron money and the Secret Wars will be similar. The franchise actors are part of the problem. Steve Rogers is Captain America, not Thunder John Henry

This movie shows Marvel is still very powerful. If Doomsday is good, it'll be massive too. I wonder if this makes WB consider moving Dune 3 up a week

Obviously, as everyone associates this Spider-Man more with Morbius, Kraven, and Madam Web than they do the Avengers.

You sure do hate facts. By your logic NWH should’ve turned the MCU around but that didn’t happen so your argument holds no water.

Like the fact that Sony entered into this joint venture under the agreement that they would not have creative control of the character in the MCU?
You're correcting people to give credit to the studio that is sitting back and collecting checks on this. This is an MCU movie.

How the frick do you mess up a spider man universe so badly? Like seriously Sony should be thanking God for the partnership

It’s a Sony movie that had to adhere to Sony’s rules via characters. Keep coping and melting over facts though. Always funny to watch retards argue with reality.

Sony canceled Andrew Garfields Spiderman 3 for a reason,

Spider Man was making $700 mil before MCU

Now he's averaging $2 billion for the last 2 sequels.

This movie out earned Andrew Garfields entire Amazing Spiderman box office in 3 days.

And you think it was Sonys work that did it? It's Spidey being associated with the biggest movie franchise ever

Sony couldn't even suit up Tom Hardys Venom vs Tom Hollands Spider Man right. How many Sony characters were marketed and appear?

Everybody knows this

Sony makes 75% of the money. It’s a Sony Movie. Every argument you guys have attempted to dance around that fact has zero logic or proof to support it.

It’s a Sony movie and 23+ years of box office proves Spider-Man doesn’t need the MCU, it’s the other way around. Last 3 MCU movies made a combined 1.3 billion. This movie and the last Spider-Man movie will both make more on their own. The first Spider-Man movie in 2002 made way more than the highest grossing MCU movie of the last 3. It made way more than any of the phase 1 MCU stand alone movies that came after Spider-Man 3. Sorry them’s the facts.
