Why no Fear The Walking Dead thread spoilers?

And they killed the douchey kid who was basically the cover boy for the show.
Madison is clearly getting her menopause sag, and though the daughter is ridiculously fine, they must be cutting costs by axing characters like Carl and Nick, ones that would demand pretty high salaries if they'd stayed with the shows.
This could spell the beginning of the end and lead toward the double cancellation you all seem to want so badly.

I can’t believe the axed nick
Walking dead needs the time jump and Madison needs to show up as Alpha with the whisperers.

I'm guessing Madison got hers too. She's not with them and other hints point that way. WTFux going on?
If Alycia Carey gets axed I'm done.

Yeah I don’t like the way we just never see what happened after dam.

I won't miss Nick, though I did enjoy his antler attack on the blue car guy.
They've brought in Morgan (tolerable so far in this show), Cowboy, and the girl with the video camera, and they seem decent replacements.
I like this show okay and watch every episode, but I never care enough about any of them to remember their name. They're just the black guy, hot Hispanic chick, Alycia Debnam-Carey (I know her real name but not her character), etc. It took me forever to get Nick and Chris straight.

quote:Yeah, he was kind of a condescending douchebag. I'm really not a fan of the character drama feel of the show. I want warring factions and zombie killing, and the core family's whole "we're better than you" thing is annoying. Losing one of them might help.

Frank Dillane (Nick) had asked the producers and AMC if he could leave the show, because he wanted to pursue other opportunities,”

The girl with the video camera is Maggie Grace, the girl from all those Taken movies. Not Jenna Elfman. Normally she’s really pretty but they really toned down her looks in this show.
Jenna Elfman is the woman from two episodes ago that they found and brought in. She wasn’t in last night’s episode.

right. I was just referring to the new characters in general.

The writers seem proud of the way they off'd Nick. Would have been more fitting if he got hold of a bad stem cell or on a supply run scored big on some heroin and od.

Damn Nick was actually my favorite charcter and he goes out like that. Reaaly starting to wonder if Madison is still alive they're just setting her up to be Alpha now that Alicia is her only kid left and Travis died a while ago

I’m probably alone on this, but I thought this last episode was one of the worst episodes of tv I’ve ever seen. Most of the acting on this show is a complete disaster. The main characters are annoying as hell.
The conversations between Strand and Al were painful. I don’t understand anything Morgan did in this episode. In one episode Al became the most likeable, interesting character on the show. By episode 3, she just comes off as a nut job, just like John and Morgan. This episode felt to me like it had been Gimpled, and this season looks like it will be pretty bad.
By the way, did I miss when the main group all came back together. Didn’t some shite happen at the end of last season that they just skipped right over explaining?

Hoping!!!
But everyone seems to think that lady is cast for alpha.
Apparently she was reported to be cast for walking dead but hasn’t appeared on show yet and no one knows who she will play.
Alpha better be Madison and not her.

Nick was one of the better actors on that show, and he had really good character development. I really didn't like the way he was taken out; they could have just had him not survive the dam explosion. Also, you can't deny he had more character substance than most, if not all, of the characters on the Walking Dead.
Last season of Fear was the best of both Dead series and it's not even close. However, I will say that something feels flat in the first few episodes this season. Hopefully they can fix it.

I’m sure they will explain what happened after the end of last season when the damn exploded through flashbacks, much like they did these last couple of episodes.
I’ve enjoyed these first few episodes. I’m interested in the vultures group. They aren’t your typical antagonist that we’ve seen in either series. The two timelines also make it interesting and keep me watching to find out what happened to get to the current timeline.
