Casey, Joaquin, Leo. Malek was excellent as Freddie but the movie itself was pretty lousy, I thought.

The good news for the Artist is that no matter which film wins Best Picture this year that it will take the title from them.

That's ridiculous

I'll take Affleck. He was really good in the only one of those ten movies that I like.

Too many biopic wins. Assuming Oldman and Andra Day don't win in a few weeks, we'll start this decade off with a biopic-free pair of actor/actress winners.

Felt bad for seeing less than half of them.

Ranking for them:

Matthew McConaughey-Dallas Buyer’s Club
Colin Firth -The King’s Speech
Leonardo DiCaprio-The Revenant
Rami Malek-Bohemian Rapsody

Leo. He has a lot of haters, probably deserved, but that was a great performance.

The problem is I find that to be only Leo’s third best performance of the decade. Django and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood were better performances.

He should’ve won for Wolf of Wall Street.

Here's my top 10:

Joaquin
Firth
DDL
Affleck (Very close between him and DDL)
Oldman
Rami (close between him and Oldman)
Leo
McConaughey
Redmayne
Dujardin

Big big big drop off after Leo IMO.

Agreed. I'd add Wolf of Wall St as well. I actually think Tom Hardy was the superior actor in the revenant.

You are correct. So yes, the Revenant is only Leo’s 4th best performance in the 2010s.

Some that were nominated but didn’t win that are better than some of these:

Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born)
*most probably don’t agree

Jeff Bridges (True Grit)

Probably 50/50. Cooper was very good in that film
