I must be the only one that liked Darryl crowe. I kinda liked the whole family in a bless your heart kinda way. I liked the trashy sister most

How is this not a unanimous Rayland selection?

Probably my favorite character of all time. I am still trying to copy his walk.

Ava's accent was pretty bad. She was hot though.

1. Boyd
2. Raylan

3. Dewey

I'm watching it for the first time, currently in season 3.

Winona is fine as frog hair.

But for favorite characters:

1. Raylan
2. Boyd

3. Dewey

And I hate hate hate Arlo Givens. He has zero redeeming qualities for me. Including his weird-arse accent, inflection.

Idk if it was her character or how they dressed her up but Ava was a smoke when she showed up in season 1 and by the time the end of the show rolls around she just looked as busted as some of the hookers they had in the trailer park

Mags Bennett was, pound for pound, the best character on the show. Her speech at the town hall is one of the finest scenes in the series.

That's what hard living and running with Boyd will do to a woman.

True.

By the end of it, it was hard to imagine raylan smashed that. Especially compared to the other tail he was pulling on the show like his ex wife and the bartender

I'm watching for first time also, just a few episodes into S6.

Olyphant and Goggins are great, as expected.

Dewey's character is so damn funny.

Natalie Zea is fine as hell, but I haven't liked her character at all. Same with Arlo, like you said.

I love that Patton Oswalt gets in a Star Wars reference too. So fitting.

Also, I've found it interesting that quite a few B-chars from Lost made into the casting here. There's at least 4, with Dickie (Jeremy Davies) being the most notable. I almost lost it when Avon Barksdale shows up too.

I've been very close to buying a hat like his several times.

Justified threads are hands down the best part of this board. It's almost shocking to look back and remember it was a cable show.

and to answer:

1a. Raylan
1b. Boyd
2. Mags
yall can fight over who follows

1a Boyd
1b Raylan

After all, they did dig coal together.

Nah. I openly rooted for Dewey Crowe on more than one occasion during the run.

He was just a simple man that wanted an above ground pool outside of his trailer to swim in with his hookers. I can respect that.

They said Darryl Crowe, not Dewey. Big difference

Can’t outrun Kentucky genes forever. Plus. Didn’t she get the Karen cut in the later seasons?

1a. Raylan Givens
1b. Boyd Crowder
Neither one would be as awesome as they were without the other.

2. Art Mullen
3. Tim Gutterson
Both had great one-liners throughout the series.

4. Mags Bennett
5. Ellstin Limehouse
6. Constable Bob Sweeney
Ranking based on limited appearances.

7. Winona
Fine as can be, but character often worked against Raylan.
(Interesting side-note: she has been on three series with Walton Goggins — The Shield, Justified and currently The Unicorn)
